Incorporating one outfit to have two different looks

Hi my Fashionistas,

How many times do we have to work during the day and then have a function or a party you have to attend after work but do not have time to change. I know we all have experience this before. For me I always try to incorporate outfits that I can wear for work or formal events. On my instagram page earlier I posted a great dress that I wore to a wedding about two years ago and its a great piece that I can wear to work with a cardagain or blazer. Even a button up shirt would be great. What are some great pieces that are a staple to your wardrobe. :)
