So I wanted to try something different. Plaid is another big fashion trend lately but I have had plaid shirts in my wardrobe when the trend was not so hot. So how great is this sleeveless dress from ann taylor loft. I love the striped pattern of it and decided to pair it with plaid button down shirt. Lets talk about the boots. These bad boys I purchased a few years ago from a local store. I loved the whole combination.

Leather has always been a hot fashion.trend but it has really been the rave this season. On Wednesday I wore this look to work and I loved it. The sweater really made the skirt stand out.
Paired it with one of my favorite over the knee boots and hat. Perfect work look in my opinion.

So usually fridays I make that my casual day for work wear although my job does not have a dress code. I tend to dress according to my mood. I know we all do that at times.
I've been wanting a leather cap for awhile so I went to my local hat guy and stumbled on this beauty. I purchased it in brown as well. I loved it.
Ripped jeans are great as add edge to an outfit. I wore my green military style blazer and these boots from marshalls I had for a few years.
I love boots especially the ones over the knee so hence why I love boot season. This outfit is also perfect for the weekend or a nice casual date look.

Can u believe the work week is almost over. I'm excited for the weekend as I need a break.
On monday I wore this amazing quilted skirt from the new H&M in times square and that place is huge. I was able to get a few items on a steal. This skirt was a little on the pricey side but it was worth it. The material and quality of the skirt is amazing.
I paired it with this fab studded and pearl light knit sweather from Ann taylor loft. With my boots from guess via marshalls. This look was classic and had almost a vintage feel. This skirt could paired and dressed in so many different ways.

I just wanted to share with you my look on sunday for date night with the hubby. I went to see the best man holiday and it was excellent to the point I would see it again. I cried, laughed and cried some more. Its a must see.
So I decided to wear this pleather skater skirt I purchased over the summer. I wore it once on my honeymoon but I wanted to wear it again. I know mostly all my fashion lovers have this sequin lip sweatshirt from forever 21 but its a great shirt. I paired it with my boots again lol which made a great casual look.
So what you think, would love to hear your thoughts.

I just wanted to share with you my look from friday. Fridays are casual for me so I like to look comfortable and relaxed. This friday I grabbed a sleveless lace dress and decided to put a denim shirt and belt. Made the dress look like a skirt. Its a great way to maximize your wardrobe which is what I'm trying to do.
I wore my combat boots again. I think you will be seeing a lot of these boots as I stated they are trendy, stylish and comfortable.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was able to relax and just enjoy time with my husband which is great. I also went to a wedding saturday for a good friend. I love weddings.
Last week I was able to wear this cute mickey mouse sweater I scored from forever 21 recently. I love mickey mouse and anything associate with it since I was a kid.
So I knew when wearing this I wanted to do something different. So I paired it with my black and white printed blazer from H&M and some black Jeggings. I also wore these great over the knee studded combat boots from gojane. I loved them and I styled them in two other post.
Sorry for the darkness in nyc it gets dark quick now so taking pics outdoors will tend to look like that. Hope u like the look and make sure to comment.

Yesterday I was feeling preppy and decided to go ahead. I'm learning to step out my comfort zone and just do it. Most of the time these outfit ideas just pop up and I go for it. Most of the time it turns out to be a hit lol.
This look was my version of preppy where I was told I was cute and look like a teacher according to my coworkers lol. I love this sweater from new york and company and the button down shirt was from there as well. I love the stone features of it made it classy. Paired it with my blazer from hm and some Oxford wedges. The necklace was from my wedding day. I loved that I purchased a necklace I can use over and over.
When the husband took my pictures I realized I had my hat on but oh well it still came out good. I know you may get bored seeing the same background over and over but due to me and my husband work schedule makes it hard and its gets dark early now.

Hope all is well with you. As you know I love new york and company it is one of my favorite stores to shop at. They always have amazing deals and not everyone shops there well not everyone I know lol. Lately a lot of celebritys have been doing collaborations with retail stores to provide shoppers like myself high end pieces but affordable.
When I first StumbleUpon the Eva Mendes collection for ny and co I was on the fence because the first time she launched last year I was not too impressed. The second time around has changed my opinion. This line which dropped earlier in the fall is amazing. I was able to purchased a few pieces one was a floral print silk skirt which I love and a polka dot flair dress.
There were some other great selections that I will post below. I actually live clise by to a location where I know the staff and they informed me that on November 14 there will be a preview of her holiday collection which I'm excited to see. If you are a card member you have the option to receive 10% off. The line will officially launch friday. I am excited and planning to attend the event which I will talk about in another post.

Hope everyone is doing well. Dont be alarmed with my multiple posts today as I have a day off. Day off means I can update the blog. Although I post my daily ootd on instagram. I realized that I do not put them up on the blog like I should. So lets say I'm playing catch up.
Lately old navy has been really catching my eye with some great looks and selections of clothing. Especially this year. Most of my major pieces has come from them. I realized in the blog world we all end up getting the same stuff but we all style it differently.
The boyfriend cardigan is one piece I suggest everyone has in their closet. I own not too many only three but its all I need. I love sequins so whe I saw this cardigan from old navy I immediately wanted it. So I paired it with a sequin long sleeve shirt from old navy and some leggings from them. Old navy recently made some amazing jean leggings and I loved them. I wore my.favorite boots and was on the move.
This was a perfect casual friday outfit for me. So what do you think would love to hear from you.
