Lovin some Denim

Hi Fashionistas,

So with this look I was inspired by the fab blogger kela walker of kelakloset in regards to the jumpsuit. The jumpsuit is another great trend. I actually own a few before it became a great hit lol. I loved how she styled one and it got me to thinking about a denim one I had. Its really a strapless jean one. So I decided to pair it with one of my favorite button up shirts from new york and company. I.wore these cute flats that I purchased from DSW over the summer. I love everything about this look. It was great for work. I could switch it up with heels for a night out. Let me know what you think and thanks for the continuous support.

A little tweed goes a long way.

Hi Fashionistas,

Yesterday look was all about these tweed blazer I purchased over the summer. When I saw this ming by jcpenny blazer over the summer I knew I had to have it. I only paid 30 which is not bad compared to how much it really cost before. When I finally decided to wear it I wanted it to stand out. So I paired it with my cargo style jeans, a plain long sleeve shirt and some boots. I love these boots. I had them for awhile but they are by naughty monkey and I purchased them from amazon. Amazon is great for shoes especially when u do not want to pay a lot. For accessories can't go wrong with pearls. Now in the past everyone thought pearls are just for grandmothers but they have become quite the trend. I rarely take pics with my bags but I'm trying something new. So let me know what you think.

Foxy Lady

Hi Fashionistas,

How cute is this Fox sweater I purchased recently from oldnavy. When I saw this sweater I thought it was so cute. I matched it up exactly with my look. I paired it with a blazer some jeans and some cute boots. It was a.perfect casual work look.

Heart and Soul

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone had a fab weekend. I'm home sick today so there will be no outfit post today. I did want to share a look I wore a few weeks back. I love the fall because you can wear so many different outfits sweaters dresses and etc. Fall is also about layering pieces together.

This look was all about layering.  Lately the sweatshirt trend has growned on me although I realized I own quite a few. When I saw this sweatshirt from oldnavy I knew it had to come home with me. When wearing it I opted to wear some jeans and a denim button down shirt. Paired it with my favorite boots from express. I loved these boots and been wearing them with everything. They are so comfortable.

I know my look can be bland so I wore my vest with this look and I loved it.

So let me know what you all think. Talk to you soon.

A New Chapter Welcome 30's

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone had a great weekend mines was mellow and relaxing. I just wanted to share a few photos of outfits I wore for my bday. My actual birthday was october 8. Now I did not know what to expect when I turned 30 but I was excited as I was able to reflect on my life and think about where I was and where I am now. At first I was feeling down but then my husband reminded me about a lot that I have accomplished which to some it may not be a lot but it was. I can truly say at 30 I have accomplished a lot and I know I am going to go even further to where I need to be.

I am excited to embark on this journey in my 30's and looking forward to some new memories.

Now on to the outfits lol. My first look I wore something simple but cute. I wore a leopard print sweather from express. Love their clothes with some skinny jeans from calvin Klein that were gifted to me. Paired it with a denim dress that I turned into a jacket since the way my hips are set up lol. Now on to the shoes when I saw these beauties from june ambrose I had to have them. These booties are amazing but I must warn u they are not the most comfy so they are not suggested for long wear. I did receive many compliments.  I went to breakfast, a broadway play and dinner in this look and I loved it.

My second look was over the weekend.  The husband invited a few of my friends over for a birthday dinner. It was great and we had a lot of fun and laughs.  I took a summer dress from forever 21 paired it with a denim button up shirt. Great way to transition summer into fall clothes. Paired it with my lovely boots from betsey johnson. It was casual, flirty and cute.

So please comment below love to hear your thoughts.

So long twenties

Hi Fashionistas,

I know I've been lacking on posting right away but I'm getting back into the swing of things. On Monday I wore this cute look. When I stumbled upon this t-shirt in the girls section yes little girl section.at target I knew I had to buy it. The shirt was only eight dollars so you can not go wrong with that.

What I loved about the shirt besides its my favorite color purple lol. I love the picture of the girl with glasses as it reminded me of me. In fact when I was at work I told everyone that this was me and they agreed lol.

I decided to mix both teal and purple since they were both in the shirt. I paired the t-shirt with my blazer from New york and company and some denim jeans with some cowboy boots.

This was the day before my big 30th bday hence last day in twenties. I am excited to embark in a new chapter.

All black with some floral

Hi Fashionistas,

I just wanted to share with you my look for sunday. I love clothes from New york and company as they are verstalie. When I heard Eva Mendes was doing another collaboration with them I had to jump on it as I missed out the first go around. When I saw this black floral silk print skirt I had to have it. I love the soft material of it and it had pockets which is a plus. I wanted the skirt to stand out so I paired it with my black sheer lace button down shirt from the parabalgrung collection at target and my favorite necklace from ann taylor loft and boots by nine west. This out is perfect for work or church. I can not wait to style this skirt again. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm Back

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone is doing well and I want to thank you all for still rocking with me while I've been away from blogging. If you read or follow me on instagram you know I recently got married, so I've been consumed with wedding planning.  I may do a wedding post about all my planning process towards the big day in another post.

I'm baccckkkk lol. When I scored this calvinklien dress from marshalls over the summer I could not wait to wear it for the fall to wear it as its a sweather dress. Today the weather was amazing for october so I paired it with my luckybrand boots and denim jacket that was from express but I only paid $20 for it at marshalls. Wore some accessories and my cute scarf from oldnavy. I loved this look and hope you like it as well.
