Hi fashionistas,

We finally got some beautiful weather in NYC consistently which was good so I said this was perfect time to wear
My maxi skirt. Maxi skirts are the perfect wardrobe piece to have as you wear it throughout the seasons.

I was able to purchase this great maxi skirt from new york and company which I fell in love with immediately and purchased it on sale which is a double plus. Put it together with my off the shoulder tee shirt I had from pink by victoria secret and my neon converse that were gifted to me by my future hubby. The whole look was comfy and casual.

Red, White and Blue

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope all is well with everyone and they enjoyed their three day weekend. My weekend was good got to spend it with my fiancee which is always a plus. Sorry for the lack of postings but I'm on vacation and sometimes I do not want to bore you guys with the same thing over and over again. Hence creativity. With that being said. Monday was memorial day and I support all the veterans and troops who are still out there serving and protecting us.

I had purchased this dress at a local boutique in harlem called nicoles awhile ago and only spent $10. This boutique is great as you can purchase high end item very cheap.

So I decided to pair it with a belt my three quarter jacket from H&M and my converse. I'm mad I dI'd not post a better pic of my bag as its design us the american flag.

Me and the mister went walking around the city hence mini photo shoot in this amazing area on 23rd and 9th you get to see a great view of the city.

Sex in the City Inspired My Way

Hope everyone is enjoying their week so far. I actually am on vacation from my job hence the lack of postings. I was going to take a brief vacation from blogging but I could not do that especially since I'm still new to this. Now lets get to Monday's outfit of the day. Monday was nice out so I wanted to be bright and usually my outfits are not put together the night before its more spare of the moment.

I was invited to attend a friends bday gathering and so I thought this skirt was perfect. I purchased it from a local boutique in harlem call nicoles for 12 dollars. My plaid button down shirt was from old navy. Orange jean jacket forever 21. Shoes are from payless and they are by christian sirano. Necklace from H&M. My ring is by zales cause u know how much I love purple.

When I saw the whole look come together I felt like carrie bradshaw from sex in the city which is my fav series. The look also gave me the vintage feel as well. Everything about the look made me feel good and confident. So have you ever had an outfit that made you feel good and confident at the same time. Look forward to your comments and thoughts.

Purple and Mint

Hi Fashionistas,

T.G.I.F I know we all happy the weekday has come to an end. I'm looking forward to my weekend due to the fact I will be on vacation for two weeks yayy. Now back to my lastest outfit of the day. I purchased this great pencil skirt from target awhile back and was waiting for the perfect time to wear it. The weather finally was decent to wear it. I pair it with a mint top from H&M and the pleather jacket with my favorite wedge sling back shoes and my favorite statement necklace I was good to go. I received a lot of compliments from this look. So what do you think. Was it too much or too little.

Prints and More

HI Fashionistas,

Yesterday outfit of the day was mixing prints with warm colors. When I first laid eyes on these printed pants by ann taylor loft I knew I had to get them. They were unique and different at the same time. So I knew when wearing them I wanted them to stand out more. So I paired it with a brown peplum top from ann taylor loft as well and a blazer from my local store. The shoes I wore I had for years and were considering getting rid of them but I'm glad I did not. The shoes are from nine west and the detail on them brought a vintage feel as well to the outfit. So what did you all think. Make sure to comment below.

Night out on the Town

I'm back again giving you two for one lol. Over the weekend I went out to one of my girls for her bachlorette party. I wore my one of my favorite stripe skirts I scored from old navy which only cost me ten dollars. Paired it with this fab faux leather jacket by guess that I purchased from a local square one and my sling back snakeskin pumps by dollhouse and I was ready to go.

Track Suit My Style

Hope everyone had a fab weekend. Last week I wore a track suit and styled it my way by wearing sneaker wedges. At first I thought I would look silly but future hubby reassured me I would look great. Sweat suit with heels has been the lastest fashion trend and I love it because it shows that a sweat suit does not have to be worn casual. Would you wear a sweatsuit with heels. Riding around Camo Style

I know I have not been posting much great outfits for you but I want to ensure I'm giving you the best meaning there will not be a post everyday until this weather changes lol. Over the weekend I went to a friends bday party for her son and it was a call of duty theme style party. So we were all told to wear something camo and I was too excited, hence the outfit.  I decided on some camo shorts that I found at my local store. Paired it with a tshirt and military style blazer and I was good to go. The sneakers and scarf were the added touch. Everyone loved it. So how do you wear camo. Casual Melodies

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I was able to do some voulnteer work that was amazing but ill talk more about that later. Lets talk about casual looks. Everyone loves a casual look cause its comfy. I usually do casual most of the time for work and weekend unless I want to glam it up lol. Two versions of my look I wore last week for work. One I paired with my denim vest and button down shirt. The other with a open cardigan. As you see I got to wear my fab metallic oxfords. What are your favorite casual peices.

Sequins and Crop Pants

Its been a little since I last blogged as I needed a little break to regroup and figure out new outfits to inspire you. Todays weather was great so I wore these amazing crop pants I purchased from H&M awhile ago for ten dollars which was great cause the orginal price was 25 bucks. I also wore my fav sequin heart shirt and blazer with some flats. I loved my whole look comfy and cute for a girls night out or casual work flow.
