Closet Remix

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy friday. I am happy the work week is winding down so I can rest. Its snowing once again in nyc but hey that's mother nature for you.

As a blogger it tends to get hard sometimes with styling and keeping up with what you have. My issue I always have is buying one of something in every color or style. That is why for this year I decided im going to rework my closet because I have a lot of outfits that have not been worn or only worn once.

These printed pants are amazing. They are from H&M and a few of my blogger buddies have them as well. I purchased these pants last year on clearance.

When I first wore them I paired it with flats. In the winter you can wear summer or spring wardrobe by layering or adding boots like I did. I wore a sweater and a thrifted blazer. It was a great look. Im excited to figure out other ways to wear them.

How do you rework some of your items in your closet. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Girly girl

Hi Fashionistas,

Today was a decent day compare to how cold it has been. This outfit I wore a little awhile go but nevertheless its a cute outfit.

I have issues with wearing flare skirts cause how it fits but when I saw this one at ann Taylor loft it needed to be in my collection.  I love the gold and black look with it. I paired it with a denim shirt from old navy. Statement necklace from ebay and boots were from nine west. Hat was from a local store but I loved it. Gave me the girly look.

Let me know your thoughts. :)

Leather and Snakeskin

Hi Fashionistas,

Its freezing in NYC but I will not let it stop me from being fashionable :)

This was my look for work on Tuesday. When I saw this leather skirt from Jcpenny I knew I had to have it. It was on sale when I purchased it so it was a plus :). I decided to pair it with this lovely Snakeskin blouse I purchased on clearance from Macy's. I scored it for $12 can't go wrong with that. I paired it with my Snakeskin boots which I love. Purchased about a year ago from Ann Taylor loft. The statement jewelry is from ebay. I love purchasing jewlery from there very affordable.

Noticed anything different with my hair well I decided to rock my real hair for a little bit since its been so long. I totally forgot how to care for it so its a work in progress but I love it.

Bright stripes in Winter

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone had a fab weekend.  If you live in NYC we had our big snow storm last week along with really cold weather. I can't wait for winter to be over. Im a spring and fall girl all the way.

If you follow my blog and instances you have seen me wear this striped skirt before. I purchased this skirt last year from old navy and I feel its one of the best purchases I made. These skirts are so versatile and as im writing this post, im thinking of the next way im going to style this skirt.

Although its winter I believe bright colors can work all year round just know how to paired it. I mixed it with neutral colors. The striped sweater is also from oldnavy which I had for years. It actually was in my donate pile but im glad i kept it. Everyone thought it was a dress and didn't think it was separates.

Paired it with my suede motor jacket from H&M and statement necklace from eBay with riding boots made it great look for work and afterwards if I was going out.

Mad for Plaid

Hi Fashionistas,

Plaid has made a major comeback in the fashion world although I know its never really went out of style. I love plaid. You can dress it up or down. This plaid shirt is great I purchased it from Macy's a few years back which I love. Its by Tommy Hilfiger.

I decided to dress it up by pairing it with my blazer from H&M along with some great accessories and my favorite red boots from express. The look was preppy chic.

Let me know what you think and until next time stay Fab :).

We always say we gonna change for the new year but why just continue who we are which is great no matter what in my opinion.

I finally got to wear this amazing dress from Phillip lim by target collection and it was scored on clearance for about $14 which was a score but i waited to wear it since I noticed a lot of folks had it. So new year was perfect.  I paired it with my boots from Betsey Johnson and some great accessories.  Necklace from eBay and dont forget my makeup. Who doesn't love a red lip well I was on the fence until I tried it and I love it.
